1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Detail Masters platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Detail Masters is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent car detailing businesses. We provide the technology platform only — we are not a party to, and bear no responsibility for, the actual detailing services performed by listed businesses. All services are provided directly by the businesses, which operate independently of Detail Masters.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Email verification is required to access all platform features. Notify us immediately at support@detailmasters.pro if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Bookings and Reservation Fee

When you book a service through Detail Masters, a non-refundable reservation fee of €5 (or 125 CZK) is charged at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This fee is processed securely via Stripe.

The price of the detailing service itself is paid directly to the service provider at the time of your appointment — Detail Masters does not collect or hold service payments on behalf of businesses.

Service prices are set by individual businesses and displayed in their chosen currency (EUR or CZK). Immediate-booking services may carry a price multiplier, which is clearly disclosed before you confirm. Promo codes may reduce the service price displayed at checkout; they do not apply to the reservation fee.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

The reservation fee is non-refundable once charged. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact the business directly as early as possible — cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by individual businesses.

Detail Masters is not responsible for refund disputes relating to the service price, as that payment occurs directly between you and the business.

6. Business Subscriptions

Businesses listing on Detail Masters are required to hold an active subscription. Available plans include a one-time trial, monthly, 6-month, and annual billing options. Subscriptions are processed via Stripe and renew automatically (except the trial). Businesses may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Agent referral codes may be applied at subscription checkout to receive a 5% discount on all future billing cycles. New-account discounts (up to 20% off the first 3 months) may also apply depending on the plan chosen.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent the reservation fee or arrange bookings outside the platform to avoid paying it.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse the platform.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit trial or promotional offers.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Detail Masters — including logos, design, and software — is owned by Detail Masters or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Detail Masters does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by businesses listed on the platform. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from a detailing service booked through the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Detail Masters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the reservation fee paid for the booking in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, where applicable, the national laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, submitted to the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
